Builders, craftsmen, suppliers and other professionals will appreciate the low (59 cm) loading sill of the 2.9 m³ cargo space, the wide-opening sliding door on both sides of the vehicle, which makes loading convenient and easy, as well as flexible. Whereas in the Tourer passengers will appreciate the Citan's comfortable seats and the different ways they can be placed.

Whatever the use, the Citan can be equipped with the MBUX multimedia system, which displays real-time traffic information, wireless mobile device charging and high-performance LED headlights, among other things.

Citan's engine range consists of three diesel and two petrol models. They are all characterised by great driveability even in the low rev range and economical consumption values. For even faster acceleration, for example when overtaking, the 85-kW version of the diesel engine available for the Panel Van features an overpower/over torque function. Up to 89 kW of power and 295 Nm of torque can be called up briefly.

All engines are equipped with the ECO start/stop function. Alongside the six-speed manual transmission, the most powerful diesel and petrol models are also available with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

In conclusion. This Citan is the last Mercedes-Benz model with an internal combustion engine developed by the group. All future new models will be available with electric drive only.
